OCTOBER 05 - 08

Hike Mt. Pinatubo & Overnight in a Beach

REQUEST THIS TRIP

Yetz Kie

Lets hike Mt. Pinatubo and see nature’s wrath and love. Mt. Pinatubo considered as one of the most destructive natural calamities in Philippine history for its sulfuric haze that affected almost the whole world. The eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1991 has took kilometers of houses, farmlands, and even lives. Today, Mt. Pinatubo in Botolan, Zambales, has turned into a hiking destination. Ride 4WD and get excited! We can take a photo along the way, too! Hiking is only a mere 20-30 minutes from the riverbed. IMPORTANT NOTICE: 40 years old and above will undergo mandatory blood pressure test at Capas Tourism Office prior to climb. Do NOT RSVP if you have a heart ailment, asthma, walking difficulty, foot brace, or any illness that might be triggered by dust and exhaustion. Relax the next day in Anawangin Cove via Mt. Pundaquit Hike (2-3hrs hike). Please note that hiking Mt. Pundaquit is optional. You can take by boat directly to Anawangin Cove but those who loves to hike, let me know :). We can totally split the group in two. We will also have a chance to explore Capones Island, which is characterized by huge rock formations and steep cliffs surrounded by white sand and coral beaches.
